On 18 April 2026, the Taktse campus came alive with energy, determination and community spirit as students, parents, teachers, alumni, and supporters gathered for The Taktse Run 2026. More than just a race, the event celebrated the values of health, resilience and togetherness, reminding everyone that every finish line begins with the courage to take the first step.

Organised as part of Taktse International School's and Khelum Foundation's commitment to holistic education, the event encouraged participants of all ages to embrace an active lifestyle while strengthening the bonds that make the school community unique. From enthusiastic first-time runners to experienced participants, every individual contributed to an atmosphere filled with encouragement and positivity.

The event featured multiple race categories to ensure every participant had the opportunity to challenge themselves. Students competed across age-appropriate distances, while parents, teachers and alumni joined the 5.5 km community run, demonstrating that the spirit of learning and growth extends far beyond the classroom.

Throughout the morning, the course was lined with cheering families, dedicated volunteers and supportive staff, creating an unforgettable experience for every runner. While podium finishes were celebrated, the greatest achievement was seeing participants push past their own limits, encourage one another and cross the finish line with pride.

For Khelum Foundation, The Taktse Run represents more than a single-day event. It reflects our belief that sport is a powerful tool for education, character development and community building. By creating meaningful sporting experiences, we aim to inspire lifelong habits of physical activity while nurturing values such as perseverance, teamwork, discipline and respect.

As the final runners crossed the finish line, one thing became clear: The Taktse Run is not simply about how fast you can run, it's about bringing people together, celebrating every participant's journey and creating memories that inspire future generations.

We extend our sincere gratitude to every runner, volunteer, teacher, parent, supporter, and organiser who made The Taktse Run 2026 a memorable success. We look forward to welcoming an even bigger community to the starting line in the years ahead.
